• Modulation Matrix :New workflow improvements for the modulation matrix. Drag and drop modulation assignments are possible now: Click on a modulation source then drag it onto a knob. The modulation matrix entry will be created automatically. When clicking on a modulation source like ADSR 1, ADSR 2, etc, the parameters modulated by that source will have a ring around them showing the modulation range by that source and the mod matrix will be filtered so it only shows slots for that source.
• The modulation sources tab has been redesigned using colour coding to distinguish between sources that have modulation targets and sources that don’t have any targets assigned yet. The sources that have modulation targets are displayed first so their parameters can be easily accessed. Arrows or mouse wheel can be used to scroll between tab pages.
• Massive Modulation Architecture:Synthmaster Vst Plugin Free Download has more than 650 modulation targets and 95 modulation sources including ADSR Envelopes, 2D Envelopes, Multistage Envelopes, LFOs, KeyScalers, Easy Parameters, Vocoder Bands, MIDI Velocity, Aftertouch, Pitch Bend and MIDI CC. Each modulation target can have up to 4 modulation sources. The modulation matrix, which has 64 available slots, has visual filtering as well so that targets for a specific source, or sources for a specific target can be filtered and shown on the user interface.
• The Oscillators: Oscillators in SynthMaster are capable of synthesizing many different types of waveforms: Sine, Square, Triangle, Sawtooth, Pulse, Noise, single cycle waveforms and multisampled WAV/AIFFs defined in SFZ files. Each oscillator comes with 17 different algorithms in the following categories: Spectral (LP, HP, LS, HS, BP, BS), Bend (Bend+, Bend-, Bend+/-), Sync (Rect Window, Half Cos Window, Cos Window, Tri Window, Saw Window), Pulse (Pulse1, Pulse2) and Quantize.For the next bite of classic synthesis, the Wavescanning oscillator is a simplified slant on the format. It’s a sequence of up to 16 waveforms inserted then read sequentially, either by a manual action or driven by the usual list of modulators — including multi–stage envelopes. Even if it won’t win the world’s ‘longest wavetable’ trophy, Wavescanning is fun. Lastly, the oscillator can serve as an audio input, turning SynthMaster into an effects processor or vocoder.
• Filters : The filters can be configured in series or in parallel, with a third option, split, on hand for individual oscillator processing. Divided into digital and analogue types, the filters are ultra–tweakable; the digital side has comb filters, dual filters and multi–mode filters, while the analogue variants are ‘modelled after the famous ladder filter’. They don’t match the believable analogue sweetness of, say, U–he’s Diva, but in scope they go much further, thanks to a continuously variable slope or the ability to morph smoothly between modes. It’s planned for version 2.8 to extend the modelling to filters of the Roland TB303, Korg MS20 and Oberheim SEM.Both reside to the right of the main Layers section. You can choose filters to be in series, parallel or split, and here you get into the detail of each.

 

Four New types of Filters

• Ladder (Moog type) filter with 2 pole/4 pole LP/HP/BP/BS variations)

• Diode Ladder (TB303 type) 4 pole LP filter

• State variable (SEM type) filter, 2 pole LP/HP/BP/BS/Multimode filter

• Bite (Korg MS20 type) filter 2 pole LP, 1 pole HP

 

All the new filters have an “Acid” switch. When turned on the resonance is coupled to the Filter.The 'digital' filters are biquad filters with a hard limiter in their output. The limiter features an envelope follower with attack, release and threshold parameters.

 

With the new 'multimode' filter type, it is possible to switch from Lowpass to Bandpass to Highpass filter types continuously. For analog multimode filters, it is also possible to change the slope of the filter continously from 0 db/oct to 24 db/oct.

 

With the new 'dual' filter type, two multimode filters can be run simultaneously, either in parallel, or in series. The mix ratios between the filters, and the topology (parallel/series) between them can be changed continuosly, as well as the modes and cutoff frequencies of the filters.

• Online Preset Browser: Registered users can upload their presets to the online preset library, or browse and download presets created by other registered users; using the preset browser right inside the plug-in window.
• Multiple Skins: SynthMaster comes with 3 different skins in different color variations. Using the included user interface editor, users can not only customize the existing skins but also can create their own custom interfaces as well.
• Importing MIDI patterns as Arpeggiator Sequence: Monophonic or even polyphonic (chord) MIDI patterns can be imported into the arpeggiators in SynthMaster by just drag and drop of the MIDI file onto the arpeggiator view on the plugin window.
• Importing WAV/AIFF Multisamples as SFZ definitions: Multisamples in WAV/AIFF formats could be imported into Synth Master as SFZ definitions, by simply drag and drop of the WAV/AIFF files onto the oscillator waveform view on the plugin window.
